The Federation Starship Aspheros is a Galaxy class ship currently serving in the Tranquility Simm Group. Its is currently commanded by Captain Alex Perry.

Brief Histroy:

The name Aspheros, is Vulcan for Peacekeeper. It is part of their ancient language which has been adopted by Starfleet to be used for the name of this vessel. The USS Aspheros, was one of the 6 first Galaxy class vessels, along with the USS Enteprise, the USS Galaxy and the USS Yamato. SO far, the USS Aspheros has undergone 2 majour upgrades and refits to its systems. The first commander of the ship, was a Vulcan. Captain Sopok. After the Aspheros's first majour refit, just prior to the Dominion War, the then Admiral Paris took over. The ship was badly damaged during the war, almost completely destroyed at the Chintoka Battle, but she was again taken in for a refit. Command was placed in the hands of Captain Alex Perry, and the Aspheros was reassigned to Tranquility Fleet.
